Letter format - continue with the same salary account in my new company

abhinadig
Hello ,
I have recently changed my job. I have a salary account in HDFC bank of previous company and i wanted to continue with the same salary account in my new company. So i got a letter of introduction from my company for continuing with existing salary account. But in HDFC bank there a asking for a letter stating company code mapping for salary account. Can any one help me with the format of the letter.
Thanks

Greetings,
Please comply with what the ban is asking for. In case you don't, your account would remain active, but converted into personal account after 3 months. It doesn't make much of a difference.
It's just that zero balance is allowed on Salaried Account. Rest remains the same.
The Finance team with your new employer will be able to share the Company Code. Unless HDFC bank punches it into your account details, it will remain a Personal Bank Account for you.

Hi.
It is not required to get any letter from the previous company. They can check the same & even if its not matching the code as salary account they can convert now.
Even we have salary accounts with HDFC Bank & we never get any letters form previous company. Bankers are managing themselves. Even if they are not managing ask your HR personnel to consider your existing HDFC account number for salaries

Hopefully you have not taken any advance salary or loan from your company then You just need to provide account number to your current company and they will map in your accounts and transfer the salary. No matter its personal or savings. You dont need talk to bank and just go as your company says. Its the matter of HR and accounts of your current company and not a so big issue.
Good Luck :)

No need. As long as salary is getting deposited every month, it will remain as Salary account irrespective of the company you work for.

Thanks all
Currently my new company is depositing salary in this account only. But this account is mapped to my previous employer company code. Will this affect in anyway.
