What is the relieving date to mentioned on the letter? I recollect that in response to a similar query, the learned seniors had suggested that the date from which her loss-of-pay leave started should be mentioned as her date of relieving, but the relieving letter is to be of the current date.

Please help me by providing the proper sentence that is to be used in the relieving letter to explain the discrepancy in dates.
