Regarding Performance Appraisal.

Dear All,
This is kishorkumar from coimbatore-TN, I am working as HR one of engineering firm here. My company has been assigned to me a task for performance appraisal for increment purpose. Here majority of employees are working as machine operator & helper then 20 :1 ratio for very few of them next level of operator and then 15 female labours for packing and house keeping duties
So where I have to start working in performance appraisal and how to create the format for one month work assessment for their performance in a month. Because within in a month I have to finish that work, based on their one month performance only we will put for an increment.

As you say that employees are more of blue coloured people, use parameters like:
1. Attendance and Punctuality
2. Attitude towards work assigned.
3. Quality of work performed.
4. Collaboration with Team
5. Productivity
