Please help me in a query.
Can we decrease the manpower strength in Labour License. or not. If we can, Please share the procedure.

Hi,
You can increase/ decrease the manpower numbers in the Licence/ Registration any time during the licence/ Registration tenure.
Procedure is very simple, you just need to apply for amendment.
But why you want to decrease the manpower number in the licence, it better to be higher side since manpower exceeded to the licence/ registration will be offend able and can attract penalty.

I would like to inform you that the contractor was permitted to provide the manpower more than 20 to 30 but now he has been permitted to 10 manpower on daily basis. That's why we want to reduce the manpower.

I appreciate the reply of Mr. Yadav. If you want to control the manpower let the contractor not enter more than required no. of manpower in the Form-XIII and do not issue Gate Passes or Work Permit Cards to workers beyond the no. required as per your management prerogative. It is better not to decrease the no. in license as you may require to cross the no. on any one day even, in case of emergency as per management's requirement.
