I have resigned from my MNC company, and after a month, I have revoked it (taken it back). However, due to some personal issues, I need to submit my resignation again. My HR is stating that there is a lock-in period or policy in place that prohibits me from resigning again for the next 6 months after revoking my initial resignation.
To my knowledge, there should not be any such policy or rule. If an employee wishes to leave a company, they should be allowed to do so without restrictions. Additionally, I have not accepted any conditions like this in my Appointment Letter or elsewhere.
I would appreciate urgent guidance on this matter.
