Planning to Install a CNC Machine? How to Conduct a Thorough Safety Audit

Safety Audit for CNC Machine Installation

Do you want the safety audit only for the installation of the CNC machine? Please take care of the following points:

1. Identify the hazards of CNC machine installation.
2. The foundation should be approved by a structural engineer or should be as per the manufacturer's recommendation.
3. Care should be taken to eliminate vibrations.

If you specify which type of CNC machine (Cutting, Bending, Lathe, Milling, etc.), it will be better to suggest some more points.

Hi, as mentioned earlier, please ensure that the vibrations are eliminated. You may use thermocol or vibration damping pads. Ensure the proper electrical supply with ELCBs in the control circuit and proper earthing. There should not be any tripping hazards. Ensure that the coolant pipelines are underground. These instructions must be in the installation manual. Follow all the instructions in the installation manual.
