Hello Mr AVS,
Good to see you post a quote after a lull period.
It is certainly an appropriate one from a strong man – one of those few
who had the distinction of serving their country successfully in both the World Wars.
It was no easy challenge and when he became the Prime Minister of Britain,
he said he had nothing more to offer than blood ,
toil tears and sweat for his country.
Like other European Nations, Britain was in the receiving end as
Hitler’s NAZI forces relentlessly bombarded his country.
Even in the wake of adversities he held his morale and courage high by vowing to fight the
enemy in land or air or anywhere.
He did finally get his (famous V for) Victory .
Thanks for giving an opportunity to a nostalgic ride through the pages of History !!!
