Thank you, sir, for the valuable response. Can you please explain the exact difference between a Skill Matrix and a Competency Matrix? Are they the same thing? If possible, could you clarify my doubt with examples of the format for each?

The capacity of a person to do a specific job is referred to as a skill. Competency, on the other hand, is a combination of skill and attitude. A person may be highly skilled but, without the willingness to work, will be considered incompetent. A skill matrix is generally skill-based, while a competency matrix is more behaviorally based.
