Hi Sai,
*Recruitment is the process of discovering the right person for the anticipated position.
*If you say Recuritment is an activity; Recruting is the process for that.
*If you identified the right person for a position and you are hired him then we say that a person is been recruited for the position.
I think I have answered your question.
If you have any queries feel free to reach me.

Hi Sai
Recruitment - NOUN
Recruitig - Doesn't exist
Recruiting - is used in present/past continous tense
Recruited - is used in past tense.
Thank you!
Sometime you should not try and find a big meaning out of those thick HR books with jargons!
:-)

Dear Sai,
Akhil has actually said it all....but finally we follow back on HR references....
so
Manpower Planning : is the process of identifying ,the right person on the right job ant the right at the time .
Manpower Planning is also known as Human resource Planning ,or Staffing.
Recruitment is attracting a pool of candidates to apply for the job in esteemed organisation.
Selection is a negative process where you try to find out whether the prospective candidate is actually fit for the job or not.
I hope this inf. is of help.

Deepali.
