Are there any free leading job portals? How can I recruit from Linkedin and Facebook?

Hi All, Till date I have always recruited from leading job portals and references! But now in my new company, we do not have any job portals for the recruitment process! They mostly get it done from employment firms. I want to know some other ways of recruiting apart from using job portals. Which all social networking sites can help me! Are there any free leading job portals? How can I recruit from Linkedin and Facebook?! I want to know the process.
HR folks, pls help me with all suggestions that you have. I don't have much time so want to learn the tacts ASAP. Pls help!

Hi Kunal,
Just login Linkedin, take a linked-HR group membership (its free) and post ur requirement in discussion and move to job.
U take any most popular group membership and post job in discussion. if u will directly post ur requirement to job u have to pay. so, firstly post in discussion and then there is a move to job button.
u can search candidate from linkedin and u can take refrences from them.

You can also use communities in Social networking sites and yahoo groups related to job seekers and some websites like quickr.com or other online exchanges
