Clarification On Wage Slip - Computer Generated

Subramanianj
Dear Seniors,
Nowadays as we know all companies issue a Computer generated pay slip/wage slip.
We are a contracting company employing a huge work force. We have been issuing computer generated wage slips with a marking that since it is a computer generated slip, signatures are not required.
But objections have been raised by the auditors of the Principal Employers to whom we deploy our manpower, on this aspect.
Is there any exemptions for companies deploying such huge manpower, to issue computer generated slips without signatures of the issuing authority.
Kindly throw some light on the alternatives too.
Thanks & Regards,
J. Subramanian

Hi,
As per contract labour Act or any other relevant act, we need to take the permission from the concerned local labour authority for exemption to keep computerised records. Exemption can be taken for exp-Salary sheets, Payslips, Attendance sheets and any thing more as per your requirement.
Cheers,
Harshad

1. If contractor employs less than 20 employees whether registers to be maintained as per contract act or not
2. If contractor employs less than 20 employees whether minimum wages registers to be maintained by contractor or principle employer
