Hi Govil,
Thanks for your info on this, but can you let me know what would be the slabs of LTA to calculate CTC for salary break ups as to include in pay structure and pay slips. As LTA is also a component of salary earnings.

Hi Janani,
LTA nowadays is inclueded in CTC by most of the companies.
It depends on your policy of LTA if its based on a year then you have to divide the amount by 12 and place it in monthly basis, while if its for 24 months then divide by the same across 24 months.
The other option if you wish to avail is to give the option to employee when he wishes to withdraw as a total amount or in two installments in a six month basis. Either ways it can be a part of CTC and LTA mentioned twice in a year's payslip.
Hope it solves your query.
Regards,
AJ

Hi Think Jobs,
Thanks for your reply, our company includes LTA in CTC component so, can you let me know by what percent slab is LTA over the basic for Salary above 10000/- per month; below 10,000/- its 10% over the basic.

Hi Janani,
I believe here you will have to use the reverse process. Guess you already have LTA slabs for employees according to their grades or position in the firm.
Arrange to divide it by 12 or 24 which ever period you provide the LTA for.
And then include it into the monthly salary.

AJ
