This is not an isolated incident. Day by day the frequency of such incidents is increasing. I feel pitty of being in this society where women are not given any respect. As far as women are concered they become totally helpless in such situations. What else we, the men could do? Just to regret for whatever had happend.
The employment sitation has so changed that even women are forced to stay back in the office late night. We have specific provisions in labour enactments regarding time of employment of women underwhich women are not supposed to work during night. Even the amendment made in this regard in the Factories Act also says that the employer should take all necessary steps to ensure safety of women employees employed during night. It is the primary responsibility of the employer to see that women employees reach home safe after their work. But who follows all these ???
To be of safer side, it is better if before steping out of the office at odd time to make a ring to house or a friend and wait for some one to come and pick. Though it sounds to be impractical, I prefer that ladies be alert and donot enter into any share riksha or taxi.

I feel staying late is fine... however the office is accountable for their employee security... some transportation is alwaz given incase they leave at late hours

Nice lesson to all girls, not all the days are alike and there is no guarantee now-a-days for safety not only for girls but boys too. Girls never think ur brave enough to fight all situations, just imagine ur situation if ur surrounded by a gang of atleast 7-8 around you.
* Always have a company along with you either a boy whom u trust or a girl.
* Never use public transports late night use ur own vehicle or its safe to go by cab, if any thing happens we can always lodge a complaint and get back the things and even we can trust cab drivers, but auto drivers are there today and vanished next.
* Always use ur elbow to hit bcz its the strongest part of our body to fight.
* Always hit on private places until the person recovers u can atleadt reach to a distance away from him.
* U can hit using ur hand bag hardly or push him down to ground and run in opposite direction to save ur life.
* or else u can even try escaping saying that ur going through some personal problem.
* if the person really wants some money give him cz nothin is more important than our life and save ur life.

:roll: its somthing common n happens almost evryday in dis real big democratic country India.....but thrs no one who cud raise voice n scream against the culprits....all because of our social norms n non supportive members of d society....why not complain against them, whn v had 2 tolerate so much...why not throw those bastards behind the bars,.....?? u shud complain against them.....
