WE ARE PLANNING TO BUY A EFFICIENT SOFTWARE SO THAT WE CAN CONTROL THE TIME ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE.
YOUR SUGGESTIONS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED, AND IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP.

Hi Joseph,

You got to trust people when you believe in effective Human Relations and if you can't trust them you cannot achieve the maximum out of them and as a HR professional you must be knowing all these things.

A simple attendance system can be implemented by making one of those 4 or 5 employees responsible to ensure proper attendance system and make all others equally clear that any misappropriation and fabrication of attendance will be viewed seriously and issue a circular to that effect duly signed by the Head HR or your Managing Director/CEO or whoever it is and make it crystal clear. If you still find that attendance is being fabricated take suitable action on the employee responsible for upkeep of attendance and on the employee who has fabricated. Just see how they react to this. This is the stick side of the thing.

Coming to the carrot kind of thing, you call up a meeting with all those employees and clearly tell what is expected out of them as far as attendance is concerned and issue individual notes to them highlighting the need for proper attendance system and request them cajole them to cooperate with you accordingly.

You can chose either of them as per your requirements as you are better judge on the suitability of these two procedures.
