Hi to every one
My question is that during the time of interview a question was asked to me regarding Strategy on employee Retention i answered my points were
1) Paying competative salary packages & incentives
2) Job rotation
3) Involving in decision making
but at the end interviewer mentioned that this all are motivating factors for employee retention but these are not strategy of employee retention
please help me out as i am confused

The points you have mentioned are very common & doesn't make any difference when implemented to retain people. they are looking at some innovative & creative way of retaining employees where you focus on giving value addition to your employees. Example: Allotting stock option to employees, Training, Higher education with sabbaticals, Valuing their family & doing some program for their family etc... no one can give u ideas its your creativity buddy
