I am Atharv member of cite hr. & working as a Recruitment Executive. Recently I have got opportunity in IT company as HR Executive. This IT company did not have any HR dept. But is planing to set up HR dept.
So, can anybody help me what things should be take into considaration for set up new HR department. What things requaired to set up HR Dept.

Hi Atharv,
You can start with the basic functions such as
1.Attendance Policy
2.Leave Policy.
3.Work norm Policy.
4.Travel Policy.
Design Leave application Form, Permission Application Form, Prepare Employee Data Base, Get KRA's of the employees and basing on that prepare daily report format. Assign Emp Codes.
These are some of the common and initial things, what i feel are immediate things during set up.
