Appraisal is what all the HR managers would be busy in when it comes to the month of March. Always the question arises whether we are doing justice to our process or not, afterall it is the life of our colleagues. Hence, it should be fair, simple and clear to all.

I was also looking for a simpler method and i found a tool prepared by a growing IT company in chennai who has come out with PMS online tool. It takes into account the current trends of HR "Competency based Performance Management System. It brings out the 360 Degree feedback. the online tool is so simple that we have to log into the software and then just feed our explanation and rating. the report will be generated and will be passed to the concern people.

For managers, they dont have to go through various report sheets. the compiled report are there in one sheet itself which makes the life much easier. The tool is so user friendly that it would teach us as to how to feed in the KRA and the competency that needs to be assessed.

Hi Kavitha, your right. we also have other tool called as perfo magic. it allows an employee to complete self appraisal and submit to appraiser. cheers, Revathi.
