i m a student of MBA(HR$IR) IInd sem and trying for the summer training in delhi.could anyone tell how would doing my summer training in finance or operations in HDFC bank would effect my chances of placement or finding a job in HR.AS there is no HR deptt. in delhi so i m trying in finance or operations and client services.

well,u r a student of MBA with the specialization in HR & IR & you would want to persue you training in finance or in operations.... right?
First: If you opt for HR&IR as a specialization,why do you want to do project in finance OR in operation?
Second: there are so many companies which entertain mgmt student (HR&IR) to complete summer projects.
Suggestion: HR&IR is a vast field,therefore there is wide scope/opportunity to get good expsoure in future. SO crux of the story is try to get in to some projects in HR only...
