Dear Colleagues,

In the area of HR Freelancing, to my mind the I think the scope might just be limited unless you become a Consultant.

However some things you could might be but not limited to the following:

1. Facilitating/ Presentations/Resource Person-whenever there are In-House Courses you could anchor at a fee or even carry-out researches for yoyr Clients.

2. Another could be Recruiting for Clients-screening, carryout tests, interviews, and creating a data base for future requests.

3. Arbitration-this is getting popular at the workplace-infact third parties are most times adviced to serve as arbiters in conflict resolutions, especsially those between co-workers and employee vs employer.

You could think about registering with appropriate Institute for you to be qualified for this kind of task/assignment as an HR Practitioner.

4. You could go into policy formulation-Human Resources related documentation, employee policy manuals/handbooks customised to suit your different Clients/Markets-internally you brief who to implement such policies.

These are issues that readily comes to mind that I think you could do as a Freelance HR Practitioner.

All the best.

Thanks.

Dear colleagues
I think freelancing has a great scope in any field, but you need to do the right networking to make your own way. A number of small and medium enterprises may not be able to hire quality professionals for specific purposes. I would suggest that you first select a sector and study where any specific freelancing avenues can come up in that sector and prepare yourself accordingly, start networking and try to convinse business leaders and managers that you could add value to their business.
Thanks and All the best
