I am working in M/S Sundaram-Clayton Ltd (SCL), Brakes Division, Chennai which is a benchmarked company for its TQM practices. SCL has also won many International Awards including Deming Prize, Japanese Quality Medal, F&S Super Platinum Award, TPM etc. Motivated employees are the key factors for this success and that has come only through the Total Employee Involvement (TEI) activities such as QCC, SIT, CFT, Suggestion Scheme etc. Any Employee Involvement activities like QCC naturally motivates people and brings out the best.
