hi guys and guys iam a graduate in comemrce and after that worked as a hr executive in software company for a 1 year and 5 months and then i did my mba(travel and tourism and hr) my major was travel and minor was hr i only wanted to know can i be applicbe for hr jobs in software companies actually iam not intrested in travel side intrested in IT , ITES , BPO AND KPO would be applicable for hr jobs and iam doing a project on handling of human resource mgt in VASANT WHICH IS a IT company would be appicabe for hr jobs

Hi without any doubt just apply for hr positions as lot of recruiters are required by software firms. post ur resume in naukri, monster and times u will be thru . all the best. Prabhakar Rao.M

You can apply for HR position in an IT company, but you will be considered as a fresher.
Kindly be prepared for this question in the interview, "If you wanted to apply as an HR professional and do not have interest in Tourism, then why have you chosen your major as Tourism and not HR ?" :)

well it was my big mistake i have made as in my college no placements are there as our placement in charge has left the college and also since small no body guided me properly
