There is no monthly reports under Factories Act but only half yearly and annual returns are there. Certainly, report of accidents shall be submitted but that is to be done immediately after the accident has taken place. The required forms and registers under the Factories Act are mentioned in my PPt on Labour Legislations.

If a women adopt a child, is she eligible for ESI benifits or not?

Adoption benefits is not seen under ESI and leave for 135 days for adoption is given to government employees as per a recent notification. However, an adopted child can be included in the family and all benefits/ facilities available under the ESI will be offered to the child also.

CAN ANY ONE CLEAR THE FOLLOWING DOUBT;
I am working in a garment factory in which we have more then 12 units with 250 workers each situated at Tirupur
The issue is In Tiruppur workers practice is They join in a factory work for one week and then they move to some other factory . Now i have a issue of PF,ESI,PERSONAL FILE IS THERE ANY LIMITATION PERIOD ? AS PER LAW ?
OR CAN I MAKE A POLICY IN THE FACTORY STATING THAT OUR FACTORY WILL CREATE PERSONAL FILE AFTER SEEKING THE
WORKERS INTREST ?
OR CAN I GET A LETTER FROM WORKERS ACCEPTANCE OF PF ESI DEDUCTION AFTER 15 DAYS FROM THE DOJ?
THIS PROBLAM IS NOT ONLY Tirupur, all over Tamilnadu
please guide me ?

We can not do so. We have to comply with all statutory things even if an employee is hired for remuneration for a day.

Dear all,
There are forms for all the acts and the form numbers would be same so don't get confused of it. The following are few of the forms to be maintained & submitted as a part of HR activity.
1. Form 1 ( Application for permission to construct, extend or take into the use any building as a factory)
2. Form 2 (Application for Registration & Notice of Occupation)
3. Form 3 (Application for licence/renewal of licence of factory)
4. Form 4 ( Registration for licence to work a factory)
5. Form 7 ( Record of lime-washing, painting, etc.)
6. Form 9 ( Register of Compensatory holidays)
7. Form 10 ( Overtime Register)
8. Form 12 ( Adult Register)
9. Form 22 ( Half Yearly Return)
10. Form 23 ( Annual Return)
11. Form 26 (Accident Register).
I have given a few list and there are more forms to be added with it.
