HI,
IJP is way to tap the internal talent & provide growth opportunities to employees.
First list down the eligibility criteria for the positon for which an IJP is been conducted.
Then shortlist candidates as per the criteria & conduct a role play or group discussion for them to identify the skills & knowledge required to be possessed by them.
Furter a final interview can be conducted with the suitable panel members to select the suitable candidate for the position

HI, The objective of an IJP is to provide growth opportunities to the employees by identifying the talent required internally rather than hiring people externally.

Hi

Internal Job posting is a process to develop skill set in your potential employees. The idea behind this policy is to give exposure to employees in every department in which they have ability to perform as well as they are equally interested in.

See it will be good for you if you keep some difference in your promotion and IJP policy

IJP is used for lateral movement.

For example if you have some vacancy in marketing then you can raise and IJP and call potential and experienced sales people to apply for it.

The idea is to expose people in various departments in order to improve their skills.

Demotions can’t be included in them ideally you should nominate only those employees who are equal or lower to these vacancies

Transfer cannot be included in the IJP it is all together a very different process. But IJP can be in any office of your organization so you should ask the nominated employee whether s/he is movable or not
