Hi Abhishek,

I have done my MBA in one of the premier colleges in Hyderabad and now working in a Bangalore based consulting firm for the past 8 Months in Hyderabad.

Mostly HR students do get opportunities in Consultancies initially other than corporates. Most of them has a perception that we cant grow in consulting firms...it is true to some extent but not to the maximum extent as it entirely depends on the people who run the organization....the organization's vision and mission.

Everything is linked to Vision and Mission. So, some consultancies feel like running their organizations in a very professional manner and will move ahead with certain aspirations and they do work according to the mission and vision which they have setup.

So, we have to get into such kind of organization which have such kind of aspirations. Definitely there is a scope to learn more as there will not be much hierarchies in these consultancies and you can get to know each and everything right from the scratch.

Regards,

Gowtam
