Hi everyone, I have just joined Citehr and it seems to be a great site. I am working as Assistant Manager Training with a BPO and need some ideas on how to keep the Employees engaged during training and also some interesting reward and recognition progtrammes to keep the Employees motivated.

For your first question, here are some training participant engagement strategies that I talk about in the upcoming second edition of my book, From Training to Enhanced Workplace Performance.

I divide the strategies into what to do before training, during training and after training. During training, strategies include:

-setting clear and mutually agreeable learning goals

-making the training directly relevant to participants’ real work back on the job

-allowing plenty of time for practice

-encouraging a collegial atmosphere
