Dear Seniors !
As per our HR policy,we have 30 days notive period for Field sales officers.So our Sr.HR Manager is advising us to insist on notice period.
1.Almost 85% of the FSO's are not serving the noice period & they are absconding without completing the exit formalities.
2.Other 15% whoever serving notice period not producing any productivity during the period,so functional managers are not willing to keep them.
Do you think is it correct to insist on Sales officer position?
Pl suggest as a HR professional what should i do in this situvation?

In such a case where Field Sales Officers have decided to leave the job and join the competition, it is generally adviceable to releive them with immediate effect. The best situtation is when he does not achieve his sales targets, in worst situation he can cause a lot of harm to the image of your company.
