Hi all,
Its great to be a part of the community..I got an opportunity to do a project in Wipro on employee retention...I am getting loads of info on web but I am looking for a very specific recent statistics regarding attrition. And also strategies followed by various companies to retain employees by various software companies.
Objectives of the study..
!)To find out how the relationship exists between the mgr and the subordinate where employee turn over is high.
2)How mgr hold the employees in small and medium size organizations
3)When employees are located in two geographical locations and if the mgr cannot travel so often then how he gets engaged with both the teams.
4)what are the softer aspects that make an employee to leave/ stay with company...
struggling to get the info...will be looking forward for the reply....

every company want to keep the rate of turnover as low as possible coz according to survey the cost of replacing a employee wud be frm 100 to 150% of existing employee compensation.
so they try to develop some policy in order to entice employee like rewards on basis of perfromance on quartely basis , one day picnic, birhtday celbration, help in getting house or short terms loans.
if u wanna knw the relationship between mgr and emply thn u have to do some research work like on wat ground a emply leave job?
