Shutting down of office - no deputation allowances and now no retrenchment benefits
I am working in an mnc head office based in chennai. branch offices in mumbai and delhi. as i was initially posted in chennai office after 2 years i shifted to mumbai office but they didn t change my location in any records. i was considered as chennai employee even though i am located in mumbai for last 2 years with no any extra benefits. now they are shutting down the mumbai office and they considering to give all the employees allowances/benefits as per company closing norms. but as i am as per records chennai employee they are asking me to switch over there as i am entitled to no benefits offered to mumbai employees. so far the past 2 years i didn t get even deputation allowances as well as now i am not going to get closing retrenchment benefits either shifting allowances or quitting benefits. kindly advice me if i can appeal it legally for any of it.
