Hi I am new to this cite. I would like to know if tax deduction for men is different from that of women. If yes what is the percentage. I am in chennai, will it differ from place to place. And is there any such difference in professional tax too?

Professional tax is the same for men and women.
Income Tax is the same for entire India
For men Tax free income is upto 1,10,000
For women Tax free income is upto 1,45,000
Apart from the above there are certain income head exemptions which you will need to consider before you deduct the tax. My suggestion would be to get a good CA who will help you consolidate the tax matters of your employees.
