It's good to be back after such a long time(infact after 74 days).
Hope u'll are very happy and in good health....missed u'll a lot.
Now to talk sence. has anyone heard abt Vedic management?
its a relatively new concept... but do u know how to impliment its principles in your organisations....well i think i cracked it......
During the winter of 2005-06, a number of events took place which has somehow generated the entrepreneurial itch in me. I was doing a project with ITC-LRBD division in the area of marketing. While on this project, one of the striking features that struck me was that all the employees were very loyal towards their jobs, but when it came to reality, I felt like they distinguished themselves from the company. Around the same time, Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp(EAC), took place which ignited the entrepreneurial fire within me. Suddenly, I started observing things around me, and finding new ideas of entrepreneurship every day. While this was about my practical life, my spiritual life at ISKCON Youth Forum also came into the picture when a discussion took place on the use of Vedas in management and thanks to the untiring work on the part of my teachers at ISKCON; I was able to find a way of making the employees much more effective. HOW??
My idea is to inculcate within them, a sense of ‘family-self’ rather than the ‘individual-self’, by making them oriented to emotions, team-spirit, the Supreme Energy and thus, not only making them more effective managers but also help them be at peace with themselves, getting them to be one with the company’s goals, through Vedic Management principles.
I’m still researching on the possibilities of the project, coz a lot remains to learn. But, I’m confident that this should change the face of Indian management (or in-fact, world management through Vedic insights), if only I can make out a proper implementation plan to my idea. I have started working on the plan, as to how I can get the employees to be Veda-conscious and achieve more. But it still needs a lot of changes and modification (just like Coca-cola went through more than 120 changes), but I know this’ll soon become a new star in the area of management.
I think i have elaborated a lot,,,,but yes if u're interested in giving a budding young manager like me a chance to get ur organisation on path of excellency...do contact....
The thing is i'm at this moment looking forward for some organisations i can work out this project in, on temporary basis to see its effective results and prove my point....i hope u'll give me that opportunity.
we can talk on the details once i tell u the plan and phases and wht how u would benifit.
But not to keep u in dark...i must tell i'm a B.Com student at St. Xaviers college in 1st yr. .....so dont be in dark. But don't think this makes me less effective....i'll do a great job.
