Hi eafil,
Thank you for posting a great PPT; it's excellent.
I wish more ( Indian ) organizations would emulate Nortel. That is ; to work out a plan of action to get engaged employees.
I liked the idea that 'securing emotional commitment leads to performance & securing rational commitment leads to retention. If an employee likes what he does , he/ she is more likely to preform better. And if he/ she is convinced that the boss has his/her interest in mind, then he'll stay. (retention)
I am working with one of my client organizations & we were looking at ways to reduce attrition & imrpove performance. this PPT has give some ideas in that direction.
