Dear "Dost",
My advise to you would be to pursue an additional course in facilities management which would enhance your chances of getting a promotion or a better opening in your current field of work. If you are planning to switch careers or change your field of work, at your age and with your experience, I would not advise you of the same.
Warm Regards and wish you the very best,
Samba Siva.

Dear,
I really appreciate your interest in wanting to do MBA.Age is no criterion for learning and learning is an ongoing process. Now a good no. of universities offer a wide variety of courses to suit individual needs & also budgets. So go ahead. It will not only add to your list of qualifications but also enhance your knowledge as well as bring about a good pay hike.Do your course from a good University.Makes a big difference.
You say that ur line of study does'nt relate to your work. But,do you enjoy doing your job?Assuming you do,let me tell u one thing ,it feels good to do what one really likes degree or no degree to match it. But it is always better to have a degree [read knowledge] to give u the base/foundation for bringing more effectiveness to ur work.I believe one needs both theory & practice to be work productive.Without theory, practice is blind & without practice theory is sterile.Do you agree?
RGS.

There are some distance learning courses and week end courses which you can go for.

Dear "Dost"
Can you give me your location , so that i can lend you some advice.
Well according to me a direct interaction with the faculty is always good and i for some strange reasons don't belive in distance education , if you have the resources available at your doorstep.
give some time to your career and do not hesitate and join an institution if they are available in your city.
....Bye take care and feel strong . The Lord and Luck is always on the side which thing Strong and Postive.....
