Dear All,
I am working with an IT Fim, I want to know the latest trends in the IT Industry regarding appraisals. Are the appraisals being done annualy or half yearly. Currently we don't have a proper aprraisal policy. Employee strength is 25.
Could anyone pl. suggest me regarding what the latest scenerio is & what kind of appraisal system would suit to my org.

Hi,
Most of the IT companies prefer One year Appraisal period but still small and middle level companies prefer 6 months just to retain its employees. You can decide based on your own need rather looking for a common practice.

Dear Kshama,
In the present scenario of IT industry where RETAINING is a big problem, most of the IT companies are doing appraisal twice a year.
Ours is also an IT company with 30 employees, we do half yearly appraisal in a short form without lengthy formalities & yearly reviews in detail. Pls find attached the appraisal form for half yearly & yearly review.
