We have given Laptop to fee Sr. members in organization for office use, Can anybody help me with policy or declaration format.
We also have one spare laptop for all employees official us. I also looking for any kind of format or policy while issuing the same to any employee for company assets security.

Dear Jayshree,
I am enclosing a declaration format that would come in handy in case of any Employee leaving the Company without notice or without settlement. This can be used as security for valuable assets including Laptops.

Though it is a good idea to have a policy for laptop, wherein the same has been issued to an employee as an asset. I rather advocate that instead of company taking the liabilty of the laptopp, one can introduce the Scheme like Own your laptop. The employees will be asked to make a part payment and rest is borne by the comany. if the employee leaves within a stipulated time, the cost can be recovered e.g. 50% of the cost if leaves after one year, nil cost if leaves after 2 years.
This is a good option.... what are your views.
