Hi Arooj,
I think we should not undermine the facts that there is a social and biological aspect which leads to this.
The Growth pattern of a executive is highest when he is in his last 20's 30's. You are now mature eneough and willing to go that extra mile for the enhancement of your carreer. While Women who also choose the family to look after. they have to be good mothers and fulfill the laws of the nature and society. This is the period that they can bear children initally and always go to thier jobs.
If we see the growth pattern of Women executives , most of them have all been highlighted in thier late 50's. A Major chunck of the progress of a Lady executive is taken way for the family's stability.
Though there are exceptions to the society accepts who can hanle the family and career well.
Hat's off to all who are doing a good job with all odd's against them.
