Dear Cite Members,
I am planning to announce a quarterly punctuality reward in our organisation.
Kindly suggest a title for the winner. Also, suggest that the punctuality reward should be monthly or quarterly?

I think that it should be on quarterly basis and you can give the title as Mr. Ms Punctual.

even i can suggest the title to b Mr/Mrs Punctual of the week/month

In one office they have a Lucky Draw and Un-Lucky Draw every week. . Every time an employee is on or before time, their names are dropped in the lucky draw box and each time someone is late their name goes in the unlucky draw box. Every Friday they pick a lucky draw and the person wins a cash prize of Rs 1,000.
it can be done accordingly, quarterly , monthly etc and prizes set up as accordingly...
or for title suggest - Mr/Mrs "Valuing Money" ie Valuing time...
as one says time is money ... :)

The title can be " Clocky " ( same for male or female).
Staff are all always expected to come on time. In my opinion, three months is too long and it will loose its charm if it stretched. Instead you can plan it on weekly basis. You can give them a green card each for coming on time for a week.
You make exchange gifts for specific number of green cards
Make a Gift budget for one year.

I may sound pessimistic but dont attribute my age for this!!!
Here are a few questions before you start this
Punctuality in what?
1. Entering the office?
2. Taking his or her seat?
3.In attending meetings?
4. In completing Meetings?
5. In submitting reports?
6.In completing job?
7 In keeping up appointments?
8 In starting interviews?
9 In finishing interviews?
10 In leaving the workplace after the work hours
11. In releasing annual increments
Well sorry if I have deviated If you are designing a scheme only for attendance purpose it will be shortlived
Have a debate and have an exahaustive list
From the list take a few and announce a comprehensive scheme
Your MR or MS Punctual should not only have reached office on time but also should have completed the jobs on time should have attended meetings on time etc

Hi,
I agree with Mr siva comments that punctuality policy should include all 11 things that would be effective one it not only include attendance coming on time .If you include all the 11 things listed it will help to increase productivity and helps to achieve task to employees.

I suggest a title for the winner should a male is Mister-Punctual and a female is Miss-Punctual. This topic is really interesting and I don't think I am going to take all but I also request my friends to give their valuable suggestions in this regard.
This topic is very interesting because this can also be associated with the Yearly Performance Appraisal and Balance Score Card according to the adopted HR practices in an organization.

Hi,
Regarding the reward policy you may use certificate of recognition or appreciation as a reward or you may even include the criteria for punctuality as part of another reward system. for instance, employee of the month. this is to help also the company to maintain the cordial flowing out of money. incentives can be in any form aside from money.
