Hi Everybody,
This is Partho,working as an HR Manager. I am on the verge of designing Compensation structure for different grades of employees. Can anybody help me to define the slabs as per grades. If I can get a format it would be helpful for me.

there r different ways to design the slabs.. the widely used one is 'point plan method' where in u first decide on the criteria (knowledge,skill,attitude,yrs of exp,qualification,etc) for all the positions and then allocate points for each of them. each single point will represent an amount in rupees. then u decide teh slabs depending upon the criteria and points allocated.
i know this is very confusing and i m sure i dint explain it very well....
but u know the method, its very easy. u can attend middle earth consultants 'certified compensation & benefits mgr' program. it was very useful for me when i had to design the CTC structre for my orgn...
