Retirement law and extension of service after retirement in india
What is the law in india with respect to retirement. can the employee continue after retirement age as he was doing earlier or is it mandatory to have the person on contract post retirement. also i have read that the employer only contributes 8.33 to pf instead of 12 after retirement.

Premature retirement - is there any provision in the law that his wife may ask for his retirement on a medical basis?
One of our employees met with an accident in sept. 2020. he is in a coma stage since sept 2020. management offered a special leave which was over in august 2022. now he is not able to join duty. premature retirement on a medical base required the signature of the employee but in this case the employee is not able to sign the form. his wife or daughter or both ask for his premature retirement is legally valid or not? is there any provision in the law that his wife may ask for his retirement on a medical basis?

One of the permanent employees died on his retirement date i.e. 11:30 pm after all his retirement benefits were paid to him. my query is whether the family of the employees would be entitled for death benefits that is available to an employee while in service.

Witholding of gratuity after retirement
Hello seniors i have a question related to withelding of gratuity after retirement. is there any laws under which the gratuity can be withheld after retirement if so what are the conditions under the law. my father retired as a bank manager before an year and his gratuity has been withheld. what legal steps can be taken now. posting it again as i am unable to find the previous thread
