If an employee is earning 30000/- per month & joins on 23rd of month how much PT will be deducted.??

1. In Tamil Nadu, the Professional Tax slab is as follows:
1. Up to ₹21,000 per month: ₹0
2. Between ₹21,000 to ₹30,000per month: ₹135.00

Just assuming a 30-day month, the employee will work for 8 days (23rd to 30th) in the first month
Calculate using this formula:
₹30,000 x (8/30) = ₹8,000
