Can someone please help me in designing a "Buddy Scheme".
I already have plenty of secondary research material, but if someone has first hand experience of designing and implementing one, and can share the same, I would be really grateful.

I am Pushpa and working in HR dept. at Hyderabad. We do have buddy concept and the results are quite helpful and good.
The buddy system should for a period of first 90 days which is a crucial period for the new joinee, inorder to facilitate the adjustment of the new employee to the organization.
A Buddy should have a Positive attitude, sincere desire to help individuals succeed in the organization.
Buddy’s Contribution
–Experience in the organization
–Demonstrating positive influences: behavior, attitudes and skills
–Provision of support and reinforcement
Benefits :
• Increased ability to cope with transition into the new job
• Reduce strangeness of the office
• Networking
• Access to experience of others
• Increase in level of confidence
• Develops an occupational identity/ relationship with another employee during the first few days
• Vent to express frustrations /anxieties
• Provide necessary help to get the workplace and other facilities organized
