Need help - hr manager in medical devices companyDear friends i am working with a medical devices company from october 2010 as manager hr & admin. prior to this i have 4 years of experience in hr domain.. the work load was good when i joined this company but later on.. after doing all the necessary tasks like : hr policies related to leave attendance office timings.. changes in salary structure.. personnel files & documentation statutory compliance i was not left with much of work.. performance appriasals are done on annual basis and that on the discretion of management / bosses. as of now i have to work majorly on attendance part .and that too at the beginning of every month.. and other small jobs..like issuing some sort of letter notice.. or some office administartion.. etc.. most of the time i have to sit idle...which is bothering me a lot.. i want to learn more in hr as i do not have much practical exposure of latest trends in hr.. but here i am bound with these basic functions only... my boss do not want to explore much ..like i suggested him for employee satisfaction survey and all.. but he refused ..to implement the same... please advice.. as the years of experience is increasing ..but the areas of exposure in hr are still limited... please advice.. thanks jyoti ansari Statutory compliancesDear seniors what all registers do we need maintain under different act for a medical devices company & for a company which is in restaurant business both companies are owned by same director and i am managing hr for both as of now i am maintaining 1. salary sheets in soft copy 2. attendance sheets in soft copy 3. register for fines deductions advances overtime & accident for esi & pf all information is online just maintaining the challans for records.. i am not filing any returns as well. please advice if i am wrong somewhere regards jyoti Hr rules & policies in hospital and medical collegeHi i am working in medical college hospital & research center as hr executive thats why i want to know about the policies or hr stratgies in hospitals & medical college. plz provide me necessary information for maintaining the hr deptt. in systamatic way.:?: regards nusrat Hr policy for hospital / nursing homeDear sir / madam i m joining a medical institution i do not have any experience of hr policies of medical organization / hospitals. where i am going to join that organisation does not have any hr policy they wants me to form the policy to bring discipline in organization. there must be a medical staff of doctors nurses wardboys aayas pathlogy staff radiation radiologist etc. and non medical office staff. so basically i would like to know policies regarding there leaves working hrs. probation periodsetc. so will you guide me in this regards please thanks Salary deduction due to missed out punches in biometric devicesIn my organization salary has been deducted against missed out punches in biometric devices for many employees although there is no such policy prevalent in our organization and without any warnings. the sign out is showing in the manual attendance register & employee have worked for the day/ days for full hours . this may be due machine error also. the management is not accepting any communication regarding this. they have straight way deducted the salaries and now the employees are feeling cheated and demotivated. what is to be done. please help is there any law or can we challenge this in court of law.
