Wage Deposits via NEFT: Do We Really Need Operator Signatures?


As per Maharashtra wages act we deposit in bank through NEFT of the wages of our operators. Is it Mandatory to take signatures of the operators.

When Salary is paid directly in to the bank account of employees (operators?) the signature on any wage register is not required.

If the monthly salary is transferred through NEFT to the account of the employees, there is no need to take the signature on the wages sheet. R R Kapoor Vadodara
