I got volunteer abandonment of service letter because I was on leave without pay from long time due to my mother's medical condition. I have continuously replied to them and to all my bosses and HHR that I'll join soon from this date and I have also mail and whatsapp texted them that I can't join on immediate basis and i am ready to put resignation without serving notice period but no one replied. Now I got this letter what to do now?

When you are sure that you will not able to resume back to work for longer period you could have submitted resignation in the beginning itself or could have applied for break-in-service in writing and got the approval. Now that they served warning letter for you ( even after your repeated reply) it shows that your employer is no more willing to extend your leave without pay. So better go to office by person explain your inability to continue and submit resignation and keep everything closed once for all.

They should have followed proper disciplinary process and might had given sufficient opportunity for you to report back?
Please contact your employer make a appeal to them assure them that you are ready to compensate / serve notice for proper relieving. Some employers provide proper relieving without notice after adjusting salary in lieu of notice.
