There will be competent authorities approved by the Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers in each state. He will be a Chartered Engineer. You can find the names of such persons competent to test the Lifting hoists, equipment and pressure vessels. You may contact any one of such Chartered Engineers and do the necessary testing, get the certificates and submit the same to the Inspector of Factories and Boilers. The fees payable will also be available in the website itself.
