Rejection of offer letter even after accepting it by mail
Dear friend i have got a offer letter from a company through mail and they asked me to revert it by acceptance mail.i did this. now i got another offer from better orgnization and its very good .i want to join second orgnisation in this case can first orgnization take any legal action against me by denying their offer after acceptance of offer letter. please clarify me. regards. atul

Hello i have came across with a situation where we selected one candidate and offered him a job and he accepted the same. we also took his signature on acceptance letter saying that he has accepted our offer. later as per our mutual discussion we gave him two weeks time to join. but on the day of joining he said that he is not willing to join our company. now we have his acceptance letter offer letter with us which states that he has accepted our offer. so can we take any legal actions against that candidate in this case? experts please give your views.

Dear sir i had received the offer letter from one company & i accepted the offer by signing it. the offer letter contains the following clause: 1. i should confirm the date of joining with in ten days & detailed appointment letter will be issued after joining. 2. please confirm your acceptance. after acceptance we both are committed and therefore as per the policy the notice period of two months would be applicable if either party withdraws & pay the equivalent compensation. due to some personal reasons i cannot join this company & company is asking to pay the money equivalent to two months salary. please advise me whether i have to pay the money to the company if i dont pay the money can company take any legal action on the basis of this offer letter. i need your help in this regard. poonam
Acceptance of notice period
Dear friends i need support on this: i sent my resignation letter 2 days back to my manager cc to hr both by mail & hard copy but to receive offer & appointment letter from new company they demand acceptance of resignation letter. but my reporting manager tells now it will take 1 week time for just give acceptance itself. my question is: 1 is there any tat for giving acceptance on resignation letter? 2 once issue notice but pending for acceptance.. what it means.. am i in notice period or not i ve given 1 month notice? 3 is there any procedure to move hr directly in case my reporting manager purposely delaying things? i need this in urgent base.. plz suggest..
