In my company one employee he dropped a resignation letter. He is ready to serve 90 days of notice period. However our company doesn't want him to serve 90 days. Instead of that we want him to serve 60 days only. As we have found a replacement for him. But now he is not ready to do that. Instead of that he said he will serve 50 days. But we don't him to serve that too. Only 60 days is enough for us. Please guide me on what can we do in this case.
