Dear Sir, I resigned from the services on 14-FEB-2022 (Notice Period 2 Months) on 13-April-2022 I have again sent the mail requesting the management to consider and relieve me from the Services.

On 19-FEB-2022 the management has taken a circular regarding the revised Separation Policy from 2 months to 4 months. And I was again asked to serve for another 4 months from April 2022 and post completion of 4 months they have not still given any acceptance to my resignation letter.

Now, I had no other alternative but I left the company. In turn, they have sent a mail to repay the notice period, and if not they will file a legal suit against me.

Please guide me on this.

Regards,
Hilary

Hi,

Normally Notice period or separation clause will be there in the Appointment Order. You are supposed to fulfill that alone. In your case you had served 6 months notice period still you have not received your relieving letter from your employer is not good. You can communicate to your employer through RPAD requesting them to release your FF and relieving letter. In case if your employer fails to respond you may file complaint with Labour Officer of your jurisdiction for his intervention.
