Hi I'm susheel I given interview with UBS company in June 2022 and I got selected. I informed them I need to serve 3 months of notice period they agreed and releases offer letter with joining date on 12/09/2022.

I completed my notice period on 7th September and dropped an email to UBS on 8th September to confirm at what I need to come to office on 12th September as 12 th us my joining date

On 8th September they replied back to me stating unable to process due to BGV failed.

My question is if BGV is failed why they didn't informed me until I reached to them. If they informed me earlier atleast on 7th September I would have taken back my papers in current company so I will have a job in my hand ,
.now because of UBS unnecessarily I quit My current company.

If a candidate is failed in BGV will candidate get the initimation?

The advisable course of action here would be to ask the company to provide you the reason and the evidence on the BGV failure. You could then review the evidence and if it is not correct, then this can be challenged.
The situation is that when offer letters are released, normally there would be clauses indicating dependency on the BGV process, where it can be inferred that if the BGV fails, then the offer can be withdrawn.

Your best chance would be to check if the BGV failure evidence holds good or not.
