ommygautamyour attachment is self explanatory. so you should go with ESIC rather than Mediclaim Insurance. because in insurance you have only limited benefits but in ESIC vast benefits are available . .

ESI is statutory and not optional. Where as Mediclaim insurance is optional and at the discretion of the employer.
While ESI will be beneficial for employees covered under it, Mediclaim will be beneficial for employees who were not covered under ESI.
