Hello there, I am a web developer in a company. For the current month, my salary has arrived and I can see there is no HRA, Special allowance added to the salary and PF is deducted higher then expected. Now I want to change my salary structure is it possible.

Please verify your payslip along with pay structure provided to you along with appointment order. Please discuss with your HR and you can't change your salary structure as per your choice but the same Company specific

Thank you for your reply. I've reaised this to my HR and he raised it to CA and he says that the challan is filed so it is not possible to change basic salary on PF Portal. So please guide me here. Is there any other way to do it?

You have not mentioned what are the different component in your salary package. As per your post it appears that the PF contribution has been made more than expected. We do not know what is your expectation. After the verdict of Apex Court in Feb,2019, PF contribution will be in your case on Basic & Special allowance if there is no other regular allowance in your salary package.
Extra PF deducted from your salary with equal contribution by your employer is good to my opinion because it is forced savings. Initially there will be some problem for less take home salary but will be regularize after few months/ after receiving next increment.

Extra PF deducted from your salary with equal contribution by your employer is good to my opinion because it is forced savings. Initially there will be some problem for less take home salary but will be regularize after few months/ after receiving next increment.

Hi, There is no option to reduce your basic where it is already fixed and contribution is made.

It is in normal case PF Gross ( Basic, VDA, Other regular allowances ) may change. In case of VDA , there is ups and down of index when PF gross will change. If any organization is paying PF contribution above 15K per month may change the PF gross. But the organizations who are paying PF contribution up to 15K per month can not bring it down as PF contribution will be less.
